Sydney newcomer Xavier Dunn is excited to share ‘Give In ft. Airling’, the first single from his forthcoming debut EP.
Multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer-songwriter Dunn, was raised in a musical family and started classical training at an early age. Dunn became fluent in piano, guitar, drums and double bass and later on in classical double bass which lent themselves to his diverse song-writing. After stints in several cities across Australia throughout his young adult life, Dunn moved to Sydney in 2014 and eagerly embraced the music scene. Laying down toplines and remixes for other Sydney artists, he developed a love of collaboration, absorbing new tastes from his collaborators and sharing his with them.
Dunn has lent production talents and powerful voice to acts including Set Mo, PACES and Jack River (for whom he has produced her single ‘Talk Like That’ among other songs off of her Highway Songs No.2 EP). In early 2016, he rocketed up Spotify’s USA and Global Viral Charts and garnered international media coverage with his stirring folk covers of hip-hop songs, accumulating 10 million streams on Spotify and 5 million on Soundcloud.
In 2016, he has supported BROODS, Gordi and Airling and made an appearance at VIVID Curveball alongside Zhu, Basenji, Elk Road, Nicole Millar with new dates to be announced soon.
