Tell us how it all started. What had you first interested in music?

Coming from a musical family I was the youngest of 7. There would be U2 on the record player coming from one room, A-HA coming from the cassette recorder in the other room and then someone playing the piano in another. On top of all that my mother would be singing in the kitchen and my dad would be writing poetry.

What motivates or influences you in your quest to make great music?

Answer lies in the question. To make great music for the masses is my goal

What are your biggest goals you hope to accomplish as an artist?

Signing a record deal with a major label. From then on it is recording, touring and living the dream.

Success, what is the secret to it?

As I have currently achieved a modest amount of success thus far, it’s hard for me to say but self-belief is the ultimate driving force. I have huge aspirations and want to be successful in the music industry.

What’s been your biggest career highlight so far?

Writing and recording my music professionally and releasing it to the world via social media, radio and live performance. My songs are my pride.

Which stars of the music industry do you find inspiring?

Aaron Bruno (Awolnation). Martin Gore (Depeche Mode). Brendan Perry (Dead Can Dance). Peter Gabriel. Kate Bush. John Lydon. Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails).

The music industry is huge, where do you see yourself a few years from now?

My plan is to continue recording music as well as touring extensively and receiving massive airplay both in Australia and across the globe. I also wish to become established as a songwriter and write for other artists.

The shape of the music industry has changed significantly over the years, including the use of social media, how do you feel about the industry as a whole and what does it mean to you in getting your records out into the public eye?

The music industry has gone through massive changes in the last decade or more. Obviously the might of the record companies is a thing of the past. Bands and Artists now need to be better at business more than ever to survive. It is so important that radio exists to bring music to the masses. The human element provided by radio DJs is irreplaceable. Just that presence, that voice and enthusiasm emanating from behind the desk is imperative to the wellbeing of humanity. Radio is our friend, it provides us with company when we need it and it’s such a classic profession that we all love. Without Radio the world would be a lonely place.

What can we expect from you in the coming months? Any plans to tour?

I am currently rehearsing my band and we plan to gig lots in Melbourne and then venture further afield. We commence gigs in March, stay tuned to my events tab on the facebook page.

Tell us a bit about your latest record, how would you best describe your music?

This song is a mixture of rock and electronic, it takes influence from Muse, Awolnation, Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails. It tells the story of hedonism in a time of desperation and impending doom.

Any new projects in the pipeline?

I am hitting the studio next month to start work on a new song.
