Sunset City are excited to share their latest release ‘Can I Go Back?’. Sunset City’s pop culture of dance, beach and summer, creates an essence of fun and good times whenever there’s a party brewing.
‘Can I Go Back?’ projects an upbeat tempo with pop sensibilities, but has a deeper soul that reflects the experiences of so many. Keeping in tune with vibe of the band, the song is a fun summer track full of catchy hooks and a memorable chorus.
“‘Can I Go Back?’ reminisces over a past relationship” Says singer Parker Rose. “It’s about realising the mistakes that were made and learning from them.”
The Burleigh Heads band began as a three piece with Parker Rose (Vocals), Matt Scully (Guitar) and Rob Johnson (Bass) before expanding to a four-piece, with the addition of Brady Parsons (Drums) soon after. The band can be likened to that of Maroon 5, DNCE and Panic! At The Disco among other such bands, with a hint of electronic and EDM influences that set them apart from the local scene.
Sunset City is set for a massive 2017 as the launch of the album is underway, excitement and anticipation is brewing from fans of the band as they are soon to announce their tour dates and upcoming shows.
