Amphitheaters across the country will see three giants of classic rock together this summer with the Soundtrack of Summer Tour starring Foreigner, Styx and former Eagle Don Felder.According to a press release on the tour, Felder will open each night with Foreigner and Styx alternating in the secondary and headline spots. The trio of acts has also gone into the studio to record a new version of the Felder (along with Glenn Frey and Don Henley) song and Eagle’s classic Hotel California for inclusion on an album to promote the tour. Felder told Billboard “It’s a different take on the song, with different people singing different verses and guitar solos by me and then Tommy [Shaw] and Mick. So who knows, we may wind up doing that in the show at the end of the night.”
