Dixie Chicks Canadian Setlist

The Dixie Chicks opened their nine-date Long Time Gone Canadian tour on Saturday night at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.

It’s been seven years since the ladies have released a new studio album but that didn’t dampen the mostly female crowd who filled the arena. The group took the rather unique approach of performing music from their four studio albums chronologically during the main set running through four from Wide Open Spaces, six from Fly, four from Home and six from Taking the Long Way. One each from Home and Long Way were added during the encore. As has been traditional, they ignored the three original Dixie Chicks from the early nineties before Natalie Maines joined the band.

Missing from the show were the top ten hits There’s Your Trouble (1998 / #1 Country), Tonight the Heartache’s On Me (1999 / #6 Country), Cold Day in July (2000 / #10 Country), Without You (2000 / #1 Country) and If I Fall You’re Going Down With Me (2001 / #3 Country)
