New Music: Sticky Fingers ‘Gold Snafu’

After already selling out their Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne shows, Sti Fi have done it again!

An additional show in Melbourne has been announced for The Corner Hotel on Tuesday April 1st, the third show in the city for this tour, after this morning selling out both their March 29th and 30th shows at The Corner.

“Gold Snafu” is to be the first single taken from Sticky Fingers’ upcoming album Land Of Pleasure (to be released mid-2014), continuing right on from the band taking the #70 spot in triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown with their last single “Australia Street”.  “Australia Street” was a cap on a banner year, with the band releasing their debut album Caress Your Soul, leaving audiences screaming for more on their multiple sold-out runs around the country, introducing themselves to Europe in a uniquely Sti-Fi way…and only managing to p*ss off a small gathering of French bikies.

The “Gold Snafu” video pre-empts the tour of the same name.  Spanning thirteen dates over February and March, the “Gold Snafu” tour takes place before the band jet off to Europe to spread the Sticky love – the band will be spending two months in France, Holland, Germany and the UK over April and May.

“Gold Snafu” is everything that you’d want in a Sticky Fingers single; their dub-cross-psych garage signature sound that will undoubtedly transform into a beast in the live arena – and this tour is your first chance to hear it.
