NEW MUSIC: Foreign Architects ‘Poisonous Pill’

Perth singer-songwriter Matt Burke and his drummer cousin, Andrew Barnett, are one of Western Australia’s freshest sounds. They are Foreign Architects. The band formed early in 2013 and already has a highlights real featuring commercial airplay of multiple songs, the “Jane” music video being featured on RAGE, performing to over 11,000 fans when they played the A-League half time show at a Perth Glory match at NIB Stadium, as well as opening for ARIA Award winning Australian band, Eskimo Joe.

In 2015, the band released the single “Clover” before performing at a festival in Singapore attended by over 30,000 punters and returning home to release their latest single, “Fall”. On November 11 2016, Foreign Architects released “Sometimes I Run” – produced while in Sydney with acclaimed producer Nathan Sheehy (Bluejuice, Birds of Tokyo, Dune Rats).
Foreign Architects’ sound can be described as a blend of indie pop with alternative leanings, however ‘Poisonous Pill’ brings a more psychedelic rock experience for fans, and displays the creative variance of the band.
