NEW MUSIC: Casey Barnes – ‘Better Days’

Riding the wave of success with a string of highly successful singles in 2018, the monumental ride continues for Golden Guitar Finalist Casey Barnes with the release of a brand new single ‘Better Days’ and the announcement that he will be touring the US in the first quarter of 2019.

‘Better Days’ taken from Casey’s career defining #1 album ‘The Good Life’ (which has to date been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify) is due for release on Friday 15th February.  A positive song, showcasing Barnes’ now familiar catchy hooks and anthemic melodies tells the tale about living in the moment and appreciating the life we have in the present and not reflecting on the past.

‘I absolutely love the positive message behind this single! In life it seems we’re always looking back and reflecting on past memories as the ‘good old days’ as opposed to living in the now, looking to the future, creating new memories and making these our Better Days. I felt like this was the perfect single to kick off 2019 with a new album in the works, US tour just announced and lots more exciting things just around the corner. The best is yet to come….’

Casey is gearing up for an exciting and massive start to 2019 with his association with PBR continuing, this time internationally with performances locked in as part of the major USA event ‘Unleash The Beast Tour’.  This amazing opportunity will see Casey performing at arena events in Kansas City, Missouri and two events in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the first quarter of this year.

In between performances in the US, Casey will return to Nashville and Los Angeles to commence writing and recording his fourth studio album.  While this will bring a fresh new element to his music, the recording will still contain new songs from Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis keeping that existing magic formula going.  The album will be due for release later this year.

The last 5 years have seen many achievements for Casey with shows in New York, Nashville and Los Angeles. He’s performed at major festivals around Australia including main stage premier events such as Caloundra Music Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Muster and the very popular ‘A Day On The Green’ (with Mariah Carey) A career defining highlight was performing at CMC ROCKS 2018.  Known as Australia’s largest International Country Music Festival, Casey shared the stage with the likes of Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Brett Young and many more.

Further festivals and shows are already locked in, ensuring that 2019 will be one of Casey’s biggest years to date!
