theaussieword.com EXCLUSIVE!

Aussie fans rejoice, our girl Kylie Minogue is back home Down Under and my good friend Jade Iskra was there yesterday playing Kylie Minogue’s continuity at The Voice Australia’s red carpet event!

Looking absolutely stunning in Dolce, Kylie says that next week is “the big week” and when asked about new single Into The Blue, Kylie says “it’s been a long, long time coming and that she was a bit nervous”. Jade went in to bat for all of us fans telling Kylie that the new single was well received and that Roc Nation seem to be a great invigoration for her. Kylie was very thankful and that it meant so much to her to hear that….. Nice one Mr Iskra!

Jade was also within the vicinity of latino heartthrob Ricky Martin… I won’t tell you what Jade said to me, but let’s just say producers had to pick Jade’s jaw up from off the ground. We believe Jade also has some exclusive Ricky Martin pics… theaussieword.com is onto it. Jade, please get cracking! We want photos!

Kylie Minogue ‘Ready’ for The Voice UK!

Kylie Minogue is making sure that her new big red judges chair on BBC’s The Voice moulds to fit her petite posterior ahead of the talent show’s series three kick-off in January. The Australian singer has joined the contest for the next season along with Kaiser Chiefs’ frontman Ricky Wilson after previous judges Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue left the show.
Minogue will join Wilson as well as existing judges Tom Jones and Will.i.am in The Voice’s 2014 return. Promo shots released show that Minogue has taken the third seat, with Jones and Will.i.am seated directly either side of her and Wilson on her far left.
The famously teeny pop star looks dwarfed by the gigantic bright red chair and the desk with the big red button on it almost comes up to her chin!

Kylie was a surprise addition to the judging panel last month as the news of the former judges’ walk-out hit the show. Jones and Will.i.am were also rumoured to be considering leaving at one point t, but negotiated another season with BBC bosses.
Former presenters Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates also left the show, with I’m A Celebrity…presenter and wife of Busted star Matt, Emma Willis signed up for the third season. The news of Reggie Yates’ replacement is expected soon.
Mark Lindsey, the BBC’s head of entertainment commissioning spoke of the show’s optimism for its third outing: “With two new coaches on board and our two new presenters it’s going to really mix things up.”
Kylie’s sister Dannii has previously been a judge on The Voice’s ITV rival, The X Factor, until 2011. Perhaps there’s a touch of sibling rivalry afoot: Dannii won twice with her candidates on The X Factor so Kylie might be looking to be more successful.

Karise Eden Crowned ‘The Voice’ Winner!

Karise Eden, 19, from the New South Wales Central Coast, made it through 10 gruelling weeks of competition to be voted by the public the winner of the first Australian season of the electrifying talent show that has captured the hearts of a nation and scored blockbuster ratings for the Nine Network. Australia first met Karise when she wowed the coaches with her powerful Blind Audition song, It’s A Man’s World. All four coaches – Seal, Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem and Keith Urban – turned around for her within the first few bars of the song. After impassioned pleas from each of the coaches Karise chose to join Team Seal.
Moving into the Battle Rounds, Karise was paired against young West Australian mother Paula Parore in a battle of the powerhouse voices, singing Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black. Seal chose Karise as the winner of that battle and she joined the final six artists from Team Seal to move through to the Live Shows. Throughout the Live Shows, Karise has wowed audiences with her performances of Rebecca Ferguson’s Nothing’s Real But Love, Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide, a top four performance with Seal of his smash hit Kiss From A Rose, and Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
Tonight she added a stunning duet with Seal of Jimmy Cliff’s Many Rivers To Cross, and a group performance of The Chain by Fleetwood Mac with all the finalists who made it through to the live shows on The Voice. Throughout the series Karise has enjoyed multiple successes on iTunes. All of her Live Show performances have hit Number One on iTunes downloads. Her original song performance from last night’s Grand Finale, I Was Your Girl, and her blistering cover of Stay With Me Babyboth peaked at Number One after being released last night.
Karise’s coach, Seal, said: “To all the millions of people across Australia, the dreamers, the fortunate, the less fortunate, to all of you who were told you’d never amount to anything, to those of you who’ve felt you were never heard, you now have a voice, and her name is Karise Eden.
“It has been the greatest honour to work with this incredible young woman, and I am so proud to be a small part of the beginning of what I know will be a long and spectacular career.” Karise said: “I am just so overwhelmed. If you had asked me a year ago if this is where I would be right now I would not have imagined it.
“To work with an amazing artist like Seal has been a dream come true. I have learnt so much that I will take through with me for the rest of my career. “The public who voted for me, the support Australians have shown me, has made me realise my decision to come on this show was the right one and I am very grateful.”
As The Voice of Australia, Karise wins a recording contract with Universal Music Australia, $100,000 and a Ford Focus. Karise performed her debut single, You Won’t Let Me, for the first time tonight. The single, penned specifically for Karise, will be available on iTunes from tonight and launched to the Australian media at the same time.
Karise Eden’s debut album, My Journey, will be released on Tuesday, June 26. It is a collection of the songs she performed on the show, the winner’s single, as well as newly recorded tracks. PRE-ORDER NOW  @ www.kariseeden.com.au.
