Kylie Minogue is giving her Australian fans a reason to smile and reminisce as she releases a limited special edition CD single of the Aphrodite born track Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love). Available only in her home country, Kylie has given the nod to Stock Aitken Waterman magican Pete Hammond to work his brilliance and remix the song for the CD. The remix had an immediate impact with fans, likening the song to Kylie’s previous works of art back in her early 80’s and 90’s era when Stock Aitken Waterman churned out the hits. A special radio edit of the track has been released, together with an extended mix of what fans are calling ‘an ode to the SAW era!’ The sound of the track is obvious from the onset with 80’s style disco beats and the trademark Kylie stutter.
The release follows the special EP iTunes release of the single in digital format which boasts several remixes from Pete Hammond himself, along with special mixes of the track Cupid Boy. The release also includes Live renditions of tracks from her Aphrodite Tour as well as the unreleased B Side track Silence. It’s a rare treat for her Australian fans who have previously missed out on such releases, but now… it’s complete redemption.
