What can you tell our readers about you? How and where did it all begin?
Well I have ALWAYS been Noize Bunny but I think it’s just taken me this long to realise it. I’m a little weirdo girl who could never really be classified growing up- I moved heaps, watched a lot of horror movies, wrote poetry and morbid stories… The only constant in my childhood was music my art and I guess this is the result: I’m a peroxide blonde half-asian who writhes onstage to Industrial Pop music half naked always with either a fake gun or blood capsule in my back pocket… always. I put on a good show haha.
What had you first interested in music?
I am an only child so as you can imagine the first solid 10 years of my childhood was spent basically playing alone… One thing that got me though it was the constant replay of my favourite Cassette Tapes- The Lion King movie soundtrack followed by The Spice Girls driving my mum crazy. I was obsessed with acting all the songs out across the lounge room, I think thats where I first learned the fun in escapism in music.
Who motivates or influences your quest to make great music?
I think I in terms of “who motivates me to do this” that would just be myself – I think im far too self consumed to ever be influenced or motivated by another person, I’m pretty driven, was probably a car in my past life, but as for “who motivates me to make great music” that would be everyone…when you make art intended for the public eye you want it to really impact people, or at least I do.
Do you have any planned tours coming up?
No, but I was thinking of doing a Schoolies Eastcoast tour at the end of the year and my best friend is the drummer from The Spazzy’s who are doing a Japan tour in december so I was thinking of being a groupie to them. Is that weird being a groupie to one of your best friends? Whatever.
What are some of your biggest goals you hope to accomplish as an artist?
Probably being on the cover of Rolling Stone and not pissing everyone off when that happens e.g “fuck what is that bitch doing on there” !!!! Doing stadium shows, partying with the music big wigs but most off all releasing an album/work that really works for people 🙂
What can fans expect from you in the coming months?
Gigs Gigs Gigs! Apart from that I have just started a new email-blog called “Bunny Mail” where fans can sign up and download a copy of My unreleased Myxtape called “Fuck like Rabbits.” (http://www.noizebunny.com/signup.htm) It is the Antithesis of my debut Ep “Year Of the Metal Rabbit” (2011) I wrote it in my bedroom after an operation in hospital so it came out really dark, weird and different to my other music..Also Ive got some more videos coming and t-shirts…Im always writing and creating and doing new stuff so ive got plenty of meat for hungry fans 🙂
Success, what is the secret to it and what has been your biggest career highlight so far?
The secret to success is doing the absolute opposite of everything your parents told you to do! Haha well at least that what its been like for me! I’ve been lucky enough to work with a lot of super- talented people and play alot of shamelessly fun gigs so it is a hard one… but my biggest career highlight for Noize Bunny would be the big-budget-probably-the-most-mind-blowng-day-of-my-life filming of the Music Video for “Me Likey” my first single. The set was enormous, the team was amazing the cameras were the same ones they used for The Hobbit apparently. It was a big deal and I am so glad I got the experieince.
Which stars of the music industry do you find inspiring?
Peaches. Freddie. Bowie. Geri.
How would you best describe you and your music to your fans?
Im the little bunny in all of us that just wants to be heard. My music sounds like the kind of stuff you’d lose your virginity to or at least like cray dance to.
What can you tell us about your latest album?

Are there any new exciting projects in the works?
Apart from writing a new EP I plan to have out by Summer I just filmed a music video with an American guy called DJ Nessex, apparently he’s number 1 on reverbnation.com for dubstep or something. Anyway in the video I got to do a mock pagan ritual thing and cried blood tears and then wiped them with ripped pages on the bible (my idea) I hope people get it and don’t get offended but either way I had fun filming it and i think it’s going to look awesome, definitely keep the eyes peeled for that one!
The music industry is huge, where do you see yourself a few years from now?
Japan.
Name a few of your favourite Aussie artists.
Allyoop- best female aussie rapper ull ever hear.
QvsQ- awesome new dance/edm act and I really love
AC/DC, Gin Wigmore, Jessica Mauboy.
The shape of the music industry has changed significantly over the years, including the use of social media, how do you feel about the industry as a whole and what does it mean to you in getting your records out into the public eye?
Well lets just start by saying that it means EVERYTHING to me getting my records heard and out into the public eye, Im still working on building a little bunny-machine that subliminally infiltrates the human mind and plays my music while you sleep….. and as for social media- honestly? I am 21 and in the heart of Gen Y- social media is my bitch. I’m not scared. Google is like my mother. Safari is like my father and piratebay.se is like my bad older brother whose room I have to keep going to to borrow shit. I cant wait to utilise the potential of technology in the future- i put a lot of time Into Noize Bunny social media with videos posts and new things to do (like the new blog im starting.)
