Charles Shaughnessy is returning to Days of Our Lives as ISA Agent Shane Donovan, however the down side is that he is coming to Salem alone – without wife Kimberly Brady (Patsy Pease). Surely the shows execs could have spared a few dollars to bring one of the greatest supercouples in soap history back to town together? It would have made perfect timing, particularly with the current Stefano, Hope, John, Marlena and Bo storyline. Not seeing Kim will be disappointing, but I guess you just never know what tricks are up the shows sleeves. Hopefully plenty… Let me remind you what happened the last time these two were in Salem together for Alice Horton’s funeral….
