Aussie Dates For Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones have announced more Australian and one New Zealand date on their 14 On Fire tour.

As well as the already announced Adelaide Oval date for March 22, The Stones with start the tour in Perth on March 19 and also play Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and as well as the hotly rumoured Hanging Rock Show in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges.

They will conclude the leg of this tour in Auckland, New Zealand on April 5.

Mick Jagger said in a statement, “Can’t wait to reconnect with all our friends in Australia & New Zealand. It’s been a while since we’ve played to you all, so we are looking forward to being back on stage & playing your favourite songs.”

“We all had such a ball this year and so we wanted to keep it going,” added Keith Richards. “The energy between the band is better than ever and we’re all looking forward to coming back Down Under. I can’t wait to get back on the stage with the boys.”

Fans will also have an option for a limited selection of “lucky dip” seats for $99. The Lucky Dip seats could be anywhere at the show including the most expensive seats.

The tour will be presented by Michael Gudisnki’s Frontier Touring. “It’s been a life long ambition of mine to bring the legendary Stones back down under and I cannot say how excited I am about their 2014 tour,” he said. “With just one night only confirmed for each city plus a very special one-off concert at Hanging Rock, this tour will be talked about for decades to come.”

The Rolling Stones last toured Australia in 2006 for the A Bigger Bang tour.

Tickets for the Rolling Stones 14 On Fire tour will go on sale on from Pre-sale: Monday 9 December to Tuesday 10 December~ $99 tickets: Monday 16 December – from 9am local times*

On-sale: Monday 16 December – from 9am local times
