“I had a bad break up that inspired my writing the song, and it’s all about that emotional process. You get humbled, your heart hurts, and I wanted the ‘Big Mistake’ video to capture that frustration. The straight jacket seemed like the perfect metaphor. I’m dancing, I’m kinda losing it, and I’m trying to get over her but I feel like I can’t get out…until I did,” shared Aiono.
