Tell us how it all started. What had you first interested in music?
I always enjoyed singing. Growing up I would sing along with the radio, and at the age of 15, started playing guitar and writing songs. I wasn’t serious about it until the age of 25. That’s when I quit my job in banking and moved from small-town Texas to the city of Austin. The band formed in 2006 when a songwriter friend of mine and I decided to move beyond the open mic scene. We found some like minded individuals and played as much as possible. Ten years, four studio albums and a few thousand miles later, Uncle Lucius is still touring and growing.
