New Music: The Kite String Tangle ‘Given The Chance’

With a brand new song – Given The Chance – now at radio, Brisbane producer The Kite String Tangle is taking his remarkable blend of ethereal pop and darker, ambient electronic beats on the road, hitting Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney in support.

TKST is the experimental solo endeavour of Danny Harley, launching only 12 months ago, the project was inspired by the likes of Active Child, Mount Kimbie and Chet Faker and is, so far, proving to be more than incredibly promising. Having already supported the likes of Gold Panda (UK), Vydamo, Pluto Jonze, Movement and New Navy as well as being a showcase artist at the inaugural Australian Electronic Music Conference and Splendour in the Grass, Parklife and Peats Ridge festivals with his other musical ventures, things are already starting to heat up and very quickly.

An extensive background in composition and production has resulted in a captivating arrangement of handcrafted electronic textures and contorted organic samples. The unique, versatile beats and harmonic multifaceted vocals are sure to enchant any audience, whether they’re lounging in a dimly lit backroom or assembled together in the thousands at a major live music event. 2013 is set to be a promising year for this unique artist.
