New Music: Kuren feat. Ben Alessi ‘Home’

He has been given the nod of approval from Ta-ku as well as supporting the likes of powerhouse Ngaiire, after delivering his debut EP ‘Love Lost’ and lead single It Still Hurts. Now, young producer Kuren is boldly bursting into 2016 with a powerful new single Home ft Ben Alessi, announcing that it will be the first cut off his sophomore EP. The single joins the news Kuren has signed to booking agency Maker (home to acts Tame Impala, What So Not and Nina Las Vegas) and will be embarking on his first ever national tour this June. Home sees the rural NSW 18 year old join forces with fellow up-and-comer and New York based Ben Alessi. After discovering Alessi online to collaborate with, Kuren says about the track “We are two young dudes using our art to find our way in the world yet we are starting from very different places. I come from a town of literally 1500 people and Ben comes from one of the biggest metropolitan cities in the world – New York City.” With a slew of remixes already under his belt, including his rework of BANKS’ smouldering track Better sending the blogosphere into a frenzy,  and a treatment of local songstress Sophie Lowe’s Pink Flowers late last year, Kuren’s latest original also follows his remix of the Tigerilla ft. Allday track XXXX You Too.
