Fresh from her recent US Tour, Havana Brown now drops her latest single, ‘Spread A Little Love’, which is lifted from the EP ‘When The Lights Go Out’. The track follows on from the success of the near double platinum single ‘You’ll Be Mine’ and latest platinum single ‘Big Banana’. ‘Big Banana’ also achieved success in the US market securing #1 position on the Billboard Club Dance Chart, this was Havana’s second #1 on the Billboard Club Dance Chart with “We Run The Night” leading the charge.
New single, ‘Spread A Little Love’is all about the spreading of positivity. “Today, with all the social media we have, we’re more exposed to negativity,” Havana points out. “We put our lives on the internet and it makes us so vulnerable. This song is about making a small positive gesture that could change someone’s day, week or even life. It can be as simple as a smile – you don’t know what affect that might have on someone.”
The single, produced by RedOne, comes accompanied by 3 remixes by esteemed artists Uberjak’d, Reece Low and Ed Colman & Mobin Master.
Since her 3 x platinum hit ‘We Run The Night’, Havana has since spent the last year primarily based in the U.S. She has been working harder than ever, getting by on four hours’ sleep to hit the studio – also DJ-ing at weekends. “When it comes to the concept of taking it easy,” she says, “I think, well, what am I taking it easy from? I have a great life. I’m working, doing what I love to do.” Her passion has been rewarded with Havana having sold over 2.5 million singles worldwide to date.
Australian fans can look forward to a visit from Havana later in the year when she will be back to promote her latest single and her EP.
