Lusty groove and magnetic vibe… Georgia Mae’s delish new single ‘Time With You’ opens a window to future pop. This girl has music industry cred. As well as being nominated as Most Promising Female Songwriter at the 2016 Queensland Music Awards held in March, her debut single ‘Keeper of the Key’ has made it as a finalist. Audiences at her Brisbane shows may be unaware that Georgia Mae is a qualified sound engineer and producer with breadth and depth of instrumental expertise. Although only 22, she has a degree in Music Technology from the Queensland Conservatorium, and music that she has composed, recorded and produced features in films screened at Cannes Film Festival and a plethora of American TV shows. From her Brisbane home studio,Georgia Mae works remotely with Los Angeles Film and TV music companies, and has collaborated with legendary UK producer Stuart Epps. With a vocal range that exceeds three octaves, she moonlights as a member of The Australian Voices – the southern hemisphere’spremier choir.In 2015, she was selected as one of eleven Telstra Road to Discovery semi- finalists and had the privilege of attending Boot Camp alongside Australia’s leading music industry professionals. Working across the music spectrum has inspired Georgia Mae’s distinctive new brand of electronic pop, the reinvention of her live shows, and her up coming EP.
