NEW MUSIC: Amy Shark – ‘Mess Her Up’

Amy Shark has released the video and digital bundle for her latest single, ‘Mess Her Up’, available to purchase/stream/watch now. ‘Mess Her Up’,  is the latest single to be taken from the ARIA award winner’s #1 debut album, LOVE MONSTER, the highest selling Australian Artist album of 2018.

Amy was instrumental in the treatment, casting and execution of the video, with her hands-on approach reiterating her strong creative vision for the LOVE MONSTERproject. Brought to life in LA by U.S. Indie Pop music director/photographer David O’Donohue (Sasha Sloan/COIN) and co-directed by Amy, the clip sees the narrative follow a complicated love story.

“It was important for me to be involved in the process as I was the one who came up with the concept of these two worlds that play out through the video. Mess her up is a very deep and emotional song and I needed the actors to do it justice.” – Amy Shark

‘Mess Her Up’ has been given new life with a brand new arrangement and mixing by Serban Ghenea (Ariana Grande ‘Thank U, Next’; Halsey ‘Without Me’ and Mark Ronson ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’) and sits alongside a stripped back acoustic version as a digital bundle, available to purchase/stream now.

Amy’s debut/breakthrough, #1 ARIA album and Gold certified LOVE MONSTER was recognised in 2018 with four ARIA awards (“Album of the Year”, “Best Female Artist”, “Best Pop Release”, “Best Producer’ [Dann Hume]) and was nominated for another five. Amy’s hit single ‘All Loved Up’ is certified Platinum, while her triple Platinum single ‘I Said Hi’ hit #1 on iTunes, #1 on the Shazam Top 100 AU chart and #1 on the airplay chart, making Amy Shark the highest-charting Australian act since 2016.

Announcing her biggest headline performances to date, Amy has already sold out Margaret Court Arena & Fremantle Arts Centre, announcing another date for Perth Friday May 3 & Melbourne on Friday May 31.
