The always interesting Sinead O’Connor has signed a new deal with Nettwerk to release her new album later this year.
The Vishnu Room will be the singer’s tenth studio set since her 1987 debut, The Lion and the Cobra, and the followup to 2012’s How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?
Blair McDonald, managing director of the Nettwerk Music Group in the U.K., said “Having published Sinéad as a songwriter for the last five years, it’s great to now broaden that relationship to the Nettwerk label too. The new recordings are incredible and we’re all very excited to be working on this worldwide release for later this year.”
The Vishnu Room is scheduled for an August 12 release.
