Over the last 10 weeks I have taken on a marathon challenge to help raise money for FOMO friends of Mulanje Orphans to help build a school in the African country.
After a life changing trip in 2008 when I cycled across the amazing county, I went onto travel the world and dedicate time to fund raise for FOMO. It also inspired me in the UK to leave a secure retail management job and start working with children with autism.
Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world with school ratios being84 children to 1 teacher and only 20% of children have access to desks or a chair. There is also only 1 doctor to every 100,000 people.
FOMO support and provides for 4,500 orphans and 100% of the donations go to the projects. So far, over the last 10 weeks I’ve completed, 3 marathons and a huge 58km Ultra marathon.
Still to come >
- Manchester Marathon
- Windermere Marathon
- Yeovil Marathon
- 58km Ultimate Lakeland Mountainous trails marathon

- August 9th – 50km UltraMarathon
- September – 309km Coast to Coast of the UK (7marathons in 7days)
2016 >>
- London Marathon – run the full length of Malawi 560miles/902 km in 20 days.
The money raised will go directly to building the art and science block and give these vulnerable children an education they deserve.
So far Andy Bell from Erasure has donated £1000/$2071 AUS dollar and Rocco Richie, Madonna’s son has posted 2 pictures on Instagram in support.
Please support my campaign any amount will make a difference.
