Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn are reportedly making a comeback to Salem as super-couple John and Marlena. As news broke on Crystal Chappell’s firing, fans were rejoicing at the prospect of getting back a couple that suddenly left our screens for Belgium. The word is that the couple will stroll back into Salem in US summer episodes.
With a new team of writers on staff, one would hope that Days of Our Lives delivers it's promise of returning the show to it's core families and providing family based drama. So good to see 'Doc' Marlena Brady Black back though – the heart and soul.
