The talk on whether to screen this particular segment of BBC’s Inside The Human Body had really struck a nerve with the Aussie public. The Nine Network (Australia) were defiant in their stand, saying they would televise the complete episode and scene in it’s entirety – and that they did.Gerald, an 84 year old man struck with end stage cancer, gave his permission to BBC to televise his story and allow a worldwide audience watch as he took his final breath.
