We are two old friends who been involved in different music project together for the last couple of years. We realised early that we have a really good chemistry and complements each other really well when making music. When Love moved to Copenhagen in the fall of 2012, we lived in the same city again for the first time in several years. We just got together in Tims small studio and shaped the ideas we’ve only been talking about for almost a year without being able to really execute. Almost instantly we found our sound, it was like all those hours of conversations we’ve had over the previous year had helped shape the music we later went on writing.

What had you first interested in music? Its hard to say what woke our very first interest for music, it had to be from a very young age. Although, since as long as we could remember we’ve been fascinated by the fact that sound and melody have such a great impact on people, that it could mean so much, create strong feelings and even affect us physically and in fact change peoples lives.
Who motivates or influences your quest to make great music?
For us it’s a outlet for the need of express ourselves as well as we get the chance to do something we can be proud of and say “We made this, it’s a part of what I am, hope you like it.”.
Do you have any planned tours coming up? We’ve just started working with a booking agency so expect some live dates in the near further!
What are some of your biggest goals you hope to accomplish as an artist? We have a common dream of creating a original soundtrack for a movie.
What can fans expect from you in the coming months? A lot of new music! Our next Ep “eden” drops 2ndof august and then another EP in early October.
Success, what is the secret to it and what has been your biggest career highlight so far?

Success, what is the secret to it and what has been your biggest career highlight so far? Hard work! There is nothing more important than hard work and perseverance. Everything else is secondary to that. To us, the career highlight so far was when we got an email with three short words in it: “We want this!”. The sender of that email was the great Adrian “Ajax” Thomas who immediately signed us to Sweat it Out. He was the first person in the business who really believed in us and gave us a big opportunity, and for that we’ll be forever grateful. Rest in peace Adrian!
Which stars of the music industry do you find inspiring?
Which stars of the music industry do you find inspiring?
Artists like Robyn, Karin Dreijer (from Fever Ray and The Knife) and Björk. With a huge amount of talent and perseverance they managed to take their artist persona a step further and built a whole universe to complement their music. They are and have been in the forefront creatively, made tons of great music over a long period of time and thereby proven that it’s perfectly possible to succeed without compromising your believes. In general we love artists and producers who isn’t doing it the safe way and really stick their neck out there, who stay open minded and curious and never stop developing their sound even though it means putting their prestige at stake. Taking risks and strive to move forward and evolve should always be encouraged as originality is a rare condition in this business.
How would you best describe you and your music to your fans?
How would you best describe you and your music to your fans? Two really good friends and at the same time really different individuals who in a shared love for house music, big and dramatic melodies and soundscapes are doing their own take on dance music, it is melancholic but hopeful club music.

What can you tell us about your latest album?
We haven’t released an album yet, Our debut EP “majestic mountains” was released back in April. The title track is atmospheric, melancholic with a hopeful edge and features our incredible talented friend Gustaf Petterson on vocals.

Are there any new exciting projects in the works?
We are really looking forward to release our forthcoming EP “eden”, a three track EP which we wrote together with Loves sister Rebekka Ojensa, who is also singing on the tracks. We’ve got a few remixes lined up for the near future as well!
The music industry is huge, where do you see yourself a few years from now?
We would be very fortunate if we could keep doing what we like the most. Touring and doing gigs, writing and recording new music. Hopefully producing other artists as well and slowly evolving into some kinds of mythical Brian Eno characters.

We are big fans of Kylie since way back! Australia is packed with good music: Our friends Parachute Youth, Iggy Azalea, Tame Impala, Flume and What So Not, Harris Robotis and Empire of the Sun is some of the stuff we really like from down under!
The shape of the music industry has changed significantly over the years, including the use of social media, how do you feel about the industry as a whole and what does it mean to you in getting your records out into the public eye?
The shape of the music industry has changed significantly over the years, including the use of social media, how do you feel about the industry as a whole and what does it mean to you in getting your records out into the public eye? We are convinced that we are in the middle of very important times. People are gonna talk about this time period almost like we talk about the 60’s hippie era or punk-rock movement. The whole business is being revolutionised due to the power of the internet in combination with all the really cheap software and hardware on the market which have created a new DIY-era. It have democratized the music business, giving a lot more people more or less the same opportunity to create and reach out, as well as explore and find new music. For us that it’s very inspiring, we wouldn’t want to have it any other way, as children of the internet, we love it.
