What can you tell our readers about you? How and where did it all begin?
I saw Nirvana Unplugged in New York on TV when i was almost 13, then What’s The Story Morning Glory his the airwaves in Australia shortly after and I was hooked – music literally became an obsession from that point onwards.
Who motivates or influences your quest to make great music?
Anybody who writes great songs in an influence and an inspiration – it could be any genre, because at the end of the day a great song is a great song!
Do you have any planned tours coming up?
I just got back from a month long promotional tour of Germany, Sweden and Poland which was pretty cool. I’m heading back to Europe to do more promo in February to do the same countries plus Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark and Norway.
What are some of your biggest goals you hope to accomplish as an artist?
I just hope that I can continue to do what I do and make records that hopefully people like!
What can fans expect from you in the coming months?
More promotion and talking to people about the album – then some shows for the festival season in Europe for next year.
Success, what is the secret to it and what has been your biggest career highlight so far?
Success to me is to be able to make a living from music to the point where you can have your own home and go on a decent holiday every year – that would be nice.

Noel Gallagher, Neil Finn, Elvis Costello, Matthew Sweet, John Lennon etc
How would you best describe you and your music to your fans?
Trans-Atlantic guitar driven Pop!
What can you tell us about your latest album?
You can expect 12 songs, ranging from three and a half to six minutes In length, in a pop rock style with, hopeful, intelligent and thought provoking lyrics and soaring melodies that will linger in your head for days… that’s what the label would like me to say anyways! Haha!
Are there any new exciting projects in the works?
At the moment the main focus is promoting the album and all that – but I am constantly writing and I’m thinking about the next album, which is a long way away at this stage but it’s something that I’m really excited about!
The music industry is huge, where do you see yourself a few years from now?
Making albums for myself and other artists would be great – song writing is a big part of what I do and I definitely want to explore that side of things. Writing for other artists is definitely also a big part of that.

Midnight Juggernauts, The Divinyls, AC/DC, Silverchair, Jezabels, End Of Fashion… it goes on!
The shape of the music industry has changed significantly over the years, including the use of social media, how do you feel about the industry as a whole and what does it mean to you in getting your records out into the public eye?
It is tough and there seems to be more and more people entering into the industry these days – so you always have to be on top of everything. Social media is very important to the point where it has overtaken traditional forms of media as the place to be. Personally I think that it’s really important to be connected to your fan base.
