Video Flashback: TOM PETTY – I Won’t Back Down

Tom Petty – I Won’t Back Down

The album Full Moon River was released in 1989 by Tom Petty with the first single I Won’t Back Down being released. The song peaked at #12 on the US Billboard Hot 100, #1 on the Album Rock Tracks and as high as #5 in Canada. The video, released in April of 1989 feature music wonders George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Mike Campbell and Beatle Ringo Starr. This track pretty much sums me up in a nutshell…

Well I know what’s right, I got just one life
in a world that keeps on pushin’ me around
but I’ll stand my ground, and I won’t back down
