Tribute: Victorian ‘Black Saturday’ Bushfires

3 years on, we pause to remember the victims, their familes and all those who lost loved ones in one of the biggest Australian tragedies – the ‘Black Saturday’ Victorian Bushfires which struck my home state on February 7 in 2009. In such an outpouring of grief, Australians together with the rest of the world dug deep to donate a mammoth $40 million dollars to help with the recovery effort.

Max Gawn and Jeremy Howe talk with Melbourne FC’s Matt Burgan as the two talk about their debut for the Demons tomorrow night against the Bombers. Jeremy Howe really knows how to take a mark, he has been compared to former Demon highflyer Russell Robertson.
