The best of Kylie Minogue
is coming. To celebrate 25 years in her musical career, Kylie is reworking some classic gems for a very special compilation. The new album which is due out in 2012, will sample various versions of her hit singles, including a reworked All The Lovers
and On A Night Like This.
Kylie has been recording at the popular Abbey Road studios for the last couple of weeks and has told her London audience last Thursday night at a gig that she was working on a project for next year.
“Next year’s my 25th anniversary (in music) so we’ve been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits.”
In other news closer to home, Kylie will be performing on Australia’s X Factor in November’s final shows!
Can’t wait Kylie! Come on everybody, do the locomotion!
Susan Boyle belts out the tune Autumn Leaves to an ecstatic Aussie X Factor crowd last week. There’s no denying the sound – it’s authentic and sounds amazing.
It was a spine-tingling emotional rendition of John Lennon’s Imagine on Australia’s X Factor with Emmanuel Kelly on Monday night, the boy from Iraq who was orphaned with his brother, both with severe deformities have won the hearts of the Aussie crowd. Defying all odds, and left for dead in a shoebox by the side of the road in war torn Middle East, Emmanuel took to the stage and sang his life away – Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Guy Sebastian and Spice Girl Mel B moved to tears. His story a tale of survival, a remarkable voice, a wonderful performance.
