Cut Copy haven’t headlined their own shows in Australia for three years but will return home to play Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in May.Cut Copy have toured the world since the release of the ‘Free Your Mind’ album in late 2013. They have performed in Chile, Siberia, Chicago and Peru and will add Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to their list.
The May shows will be their first headline Australian shows. Their only recent Australian appearance was ay Golden Plains.“The call of overseas touring has made our time at home less frequent than we may have liked over recent years,” says singer Dan Whitford. “We’re really looking forward to this opportunity to perform our new show and songs from our new record to home audiences.”
Cut Copy tickets will go on sale on Friday.

Cut Copy fans can also look forward to a special Record Store Day Australia release. The band will release ‘In These Arms Of Love’, an out-take from the ‘Free Your Mind’ sessions on 10 inch vinyl for Record Store Day Australia.
