NEW MUSIC: Gabrielle Aplin ‘Miss You’


This November GABRIELLE APLIN returns with a irresistiblunspecifiedy catchy and resonant new single ‘Miss You’ the lead track from her upcoming EP of the same name. Driven by an underlying piano line Aplin’s vocals glide over the lush instrumentation with a vocal delivery that is both smooth and self assured. Co-written by Aplin ‘Miss You’ was  produced by Mike Spencer who has worked on the likes of Snakehips, Rudimental  Emeli Sande, Ellie Goulding, Jack Garratt and produced Aplin’s debut album ‘English Rain’. (2013). English Rain’ now certified Gold in the UK  contained a slew of UK top 10 singles including Please Don’t Say You Love Me, Panic Cord, Home, Salvation and Gabrielle’s unforgettable cover of ‘The Power Of Love’ which reached #1 in the UK chart.

Since the release of her debut album three years ago, Aplin’s rap unspecified-2sheet of achievements is nothing short of remarkable. Following eighteen months of international touring during which she enjoyed a taste of fan mania in Japan, Australia, The US and Brazil, Aplin racked up a further 3 #1 singles Worldwide. Her sophomore album ‘Light Up The Dark’ released in late 2015 marked a maturing in Aplin’s sound and with the bold title track and the contagious follow up ‘Sweet Nothing’ which saw Gabrielle re-create her memorable music video live on The Graham Norton Show. With an avid online fan base, to date Aplin has sold  over two million singles, racked up 150m Spotify streamed and has 125 million youtube views all by the tender age of 23.

In addition Aplin somehow squeezed in the time to start up her very own independent record label Never Fade Records which was founded “in order to give young talent and unsigned artists their first stepping stone in the music industry” and as an innovative way for Gabrielle to self release her own music. Aplin’s forthcoming Miss You EP will features three original tracks along with a beautiful piano version of Miss You in Aplin’s signature style.
