NEW MUSIC: Rachael Fahim ‘ROPE’

The country music singer with the big voice Rachael Fahim follows up her #1 iTunes hit, ‘Say It’ with the haunting ‘Rope’ a song of empowerment, hope and confidence which Rachael calls, “a symbolic song that can mean so many different things to different people, no more walking on egg shells, feeling trapped or helpless.”

‘Rope’ which will have you hitting the repeat button is released today August 10 on iTunes was produced by Andrew Cochrane (Caitlyn Shadbolt, The Viper Creek Band, Kaylens Rain and Karin Page) “I was lucky enough to work with Andrew on Rope, my second single. Andrew just gets me, he digs deep and pulls out the best sound.”

The music video for ‘Rope’ was shot by director Duncan Toombs on the New South Wales Central Coast with the main location being Bulbararing Lagoon. “To me this videoencompasses my growth as an artist, it’s a little darker and deeper that ‘Say It’ but still has that authentic message to it. We decided to predominantly shoot the video outdoors in the middle of winter in a lagoon. Safe to say my feet are still recovering, but the results totally worth it.”

Fahim has spent the past twelve months writing for her debut EP and says, “song writing for the EP has been an incredible experience, I have connected with some remarkable artists across not only country but other genres to really develop my sound and tell my stories.”
