New Music: Selahphonic ‘Ghosts Of 1999’

Following on from working tirelessly in 2015 traversing the country and performing at prestigious international showcases and festivals Culture Collide, CMJ and Canadian Music Week, Sunshine Coast-based indie-rock group Selahphonic have just unveiled their new anthemic-pop single ‘Ghosts Of 1999’ and East Coast tour dates.

The feel-good power-pop vibes of ‘Ghosts Of 1999’ are likened to that of The Wombats, Walk The Moon and St. Lucia, and driven by an infectious lead guitar hook whilst melding a wall of synth and backed by an enormous rhythm section. The new cut continues on with sheer exuberance throughout the whole piece and is further complimented by charismatic front man Jamie Coyle’s uplifting and energetic vocals.
